incoming logs, start date is not clear

Customer searches incoming log and is able to select a start date far out in the past, example, january of this year. He searches email from joe@gmail.com, 1st of jnauary, 2022. Not found.

He thinks we have such log, but we dont. He would have to understand that he would need to do an OPEN SEARCH and thus, conclude that we dont have logs that far out.

This generates confusion. If you can show only the START date in which we have logs, it would be ideal.
