GO FR: auto-setup for iOS IMAP accounts

If GO can have some auto-setup for IMAP accounts in iOS, as afterlogic had, a file you download that sets up automatically accounts as IMAP in iOS profile since Apple doesnt respect autodiscover. Seems they had might have started work on something similar.

it really is very much desirable to have automatic setup for iOS and Android too or have our own app (or rebrand some app), as some email hosting providers do (have own app).

This guy has a free script we could use for iOS profile creation

This is important as its a hassle, specially for less savvy users, to setup manually...

So, for iOS we need something like this https://e.foundation/email-configuration/
see my previous post, theres a free script for this.

For Android, Im not seeing good options, k9 mail was gonna add support, but seems its not finished. they say, since its open source, one could edit it, etc... pitty the providers.xml requires you specify each domain...
